Jim Ben Anderson, 87, passed away on November 30, 2015 in Midwest City, OK. He was born on March 21, 1928 in Drumright, OK to Andrew Jackson and Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Anderson.

Jim was well known for his gift of visiting others and making them feel loved and cared for. He always took the time to go to the hospital or nursing homes to visit family members or friends who were ill. Jim enjoyed a hot plate of biscuits and gravy and on any given day could walk into Madison's Restaurant and the staff already knew what to prepare for him. Though he was bald, he always joked with his family and had them check to make sure he parted his hair in the middle. He loved playing his guitar, watching old westerns, and Coor's. Up until the age of 86, Jim worked and painted houses, he was indeed a hard worker all of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Juanita; son, Ronnie Anderson; granddaughters, Raven and Angel Isaacs. Survivors include his children, Jimmy Anderson, Bob Anderson, Gary Anderson, Carol Heath and husband, Everrett Sr., Teresa Isaacs and husband, Curtis; grandchildren, Adrian Anderson, Gary Don Anderson, Jr., Ronnie Anderson, Jamie Saxton and husband, Derrick, Everrett Heath Jr., Shylah Whitlock and husband, Jory, Delilah Mcgaha and husband, Steven, Shyan Isaacs, Hunter Isaacs, Daylyn Isaacs; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Adam Anderson (Lola); and beloved dog, Angel, who preceded him in death by just a few days.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will be held at the Sunny Lane Cemetery.
