HUGULEY - Mrs. Agnes Sanders Parker, 88, of Huguley died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at East Alabama Medical Center-Lanier Hospital in Valley. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 9 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Huguley, with Brother Ken Overby officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her daughter, Diane (Richard) Huff; her son, Mark (Brenda) Parker; sister, Helen Blankenship; brother, Bobby Sanders; granddaughters, Kristi (Brad) Abstance and Hillary (Eric) Grummer; grandsons, Colby (Alice) Huff, Daniel Parker and Nicholas (Brianna) Parker; great-grandchildren, Parker Abstance, Merrin Huff, Carlyle Huff, Kennedy Grummer, Aiden Grummer and Lily'Anna Parker.

Born in Chambers County, Mrs. Parker was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel W. Parker; mother, Jimmie Sanders; father, Olin Sanders; sister, Annie Pearl Harper; and brothers, Mack Sanders and Harold Sanders.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
