Elizabeth's first marriage to Stephen Wilkinson produced two children who remained in Rankin County MS with their grandmother, Harriet Wofford Lindsey Fore when Elizabeth and her third husband, D.G.R Kersh moved, ending up in Texas.

Elizabeth's second marriage to Alexander Trigg also produced two children, a daughter, L. M. who must have died in infancy, and William Alanson Trigg.

Elizabeth's third husband was D.G.R. Kersh. They came to Texas in about 1872 along with her son, William Alanson Trigg.
