Charles and Margaret were cousins. The census transcribed record makes Charles name out to be Truby, but looking at the original, it is Charly. Consequently, many geneology trees and records list him as Truby.
In 1920, the family lived in Minneapolis. At home were Hazel, 23, Charles C., 20, Emerson, 19, Ruth, 17, Rose, 14, Georgia, 12, a boy whose name is hard to decipher but looks like Dimonceus E, (I have an Elmer D listed for that same age) 10, and Margaret J., 6.
Charles was a machinist in a garage, Hazel was a machine operator in a shoe factory, Charles C was a machinist in a piston ring company, and Ruth was a "maker" in a shoe factory. Emerson does not have a job at this point.
