R.T. is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Viola Riley and his faithful companion, Brady.
R.T. graduated high school in North Weymouth, MA. R.T. then joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served 20 years as a Weapons Specialist, earning the Meritorious Service Medal, AF Commendation Medal, AF Outstanding Unit Award, AF Good Conduct Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon with 4 OLCs, and NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon.
After he retired he worked for Boeing Co. for 22 years.
R.T. was preceded in death by his son, Robert T. Riley Jr. of Wichita, KS, parents, Frank and Mary Riley of Weymouth, MA and parents-in-law, Bernardo and Isabel Herrera of Albuquerque, NM.
R.T. is survived by his son, Stephen K. Riley and his wife, Jaimie of Denver, CO, daughter, Deanna M. Lorentino and her husband, James of Wichita, KS, sisters, Ann Thompson and Patricia Coronella, MA, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
R.T. was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Services were held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Noblin Funeral Service, 2211-D Main St. SE, Los Lunas, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment was held at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Veterans Memorial of Albuquerque, NM, where he volunteered serving his fellow vets.
