He graduated from Carmel High School and worked as a self-employed lumberman. He also worked as a shipping clerk at Viner Shoe Company in Bangor. Most recently Leslie worked with his son Tim as a carpenter and painter at Harvey Real Estate. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by 6 sons, Timothy of Glenburn, Ronald of Garland, Jeffrey of Palmyra, Darryl of Levant, Randy of Carmel, Ricky and wife Lynn of Levant; a brother Allen of Carmel; and 2 sisters, Lucille Demmons of Carmel and Joyce Morris of Searsport; 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Geneva and a daughter Karen.
A memorial gathering will be held starting at 1 P.M. Friday, December 4th at his son Tim’s residence, 21 South Shore Road, Glenburn, ME 04401.
