Jeanette Mitchell Allen, 94, of Youngsville, died Tuesday morning, November 24, 2015 at Louisburg Nursing Center. She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late John “Doc” and Bessie Mitchell and was married to William Joseph “Bill” Allen who preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, November 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sykes Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her daughter, Candis Adams of Youngsville; son, John Harp of Youngsville; daughter-in-law, Janie Harp of Wake Forest; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children, Evelyn Thompson, Betty Sue Harp, and Ralph Harp.
