June spent her first four years in Oklahoma. In July 1941 the family moved to Santa Barbara, California and lived there until moving to Bakersfield. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Bakersfield High School, class of 1955.

June worked as a secretary for Phillips Music Company, a law firm, a construction company, an

During the late 1970's June was a partner with her sisters in Touch of Elegance Interiors, Inc. and became a member of the American Business Women's Association.

June was always busy raising her three sons; Mark Browder, Steven Browder and Greg Browder. She worked and maintained a wonderful home for her family.

June was predeceased in death by her beloved husband, Gerald; her parents, William A. and Laura S. Edwards; her sisters, Margaret Rone, Jonnie Cerro and Mary Rose; her brothers W.A. Edwards, Don Edwards and Robert Edwards; and her beloved son, Steven Browder.

June is survived by her loving sons Mark Browder and Greg Browder (Sheri); her sister Sharron Livengood; grandsons Gregory Browder and Thomas Browder; granddaughters Cassidy Browder and Katelyn Verdejo (Juan); great-granddaughters Liliana Browder and Evelyn FaithVerdejo; sister-in-law Vivian Patterson; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her step-children, Darryll May and Karen Youngblood; and step-grandchildren Justin Dunn, Mike Garcia, Arien Rohrer, Sarah Dunn, Brynnan May, Kayela Dunn and Cooper May.

June was an inspiration to all of her family and friends. Because of her work ethic and fortitude to persevere, she was our most inspiring role model. We will always cherish her memory and remember her kindness. She will be deeply missed.

KINDNESS

I shall pass through this world but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do, let me do it now; let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude for the compassionate care extended to our beloved June by the Optimal Hospice staff and by her caregiver, Melva Butterbredt. We would also like to thank Optimal Hospice Chaplain Michael Whitehead for his care and compassion during this difficult time.
