KC Swain, 63, passed away November 27, 2015 peacefully at his home.

KC was born November 27. 1952 to Hugh A. Swain and Mable Edna Albrecht. Only KC could come into this world and leave this world on the same day.

KC married Elaine Packer, June of 1979 in Elko, NV. Of this marriage came two beautiful children Chad Albert and Heidi Marie. They were later divorced.

KC enjoyed his cowboy life. He was a member of the High School Rodeo Club. His favorite activities were: firs Saddle Bronc Riding and then came calf roping.

He graduated from Soda Springs High School and later graduated from ISU with an Associates of Applied Science in Electrical Mechanics. KC worked 30 years for Washington Construction in the mining industry. He worked many construction mining sites throughout his life but most of them were in the Soda Springs area.

KC was proud of his children and their families. He was always taking about them and their achievements.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed being with his family. He left an impression on everyone he met. KC never met a stranger. He never complained and always had a positive attitude no matter what was wrong.

He was known for his crazy ways along with his love and zest for life. He always had a story to tell.

He is survived by his children, son, Chad and Karey Swain of Soda Springs, daughter Heidi Swain of Soda Springs, sister, Veda Mascarenas of Soda Springs, eight grandchildren, Tahner, Madelyn, Sadie, Haylee of Soda Springs, Cameron, Maximus, Khloe and Brayden of Gardnerville, NV; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

KC lived his life to the fullest every day. We will miss you dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. You are our angel watching over us.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Soda Springs Presbyterian Church. The family will visit with friends on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home.
