Donna Dele Curtis, 68, received her angel wings on November 23, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer at her home in Mapleton, Utah.

She was born on June 20, 1947, to Irwin and Ada Curtis. She is a mother, sister, daughter and a grandmother of 12, a great grandmother of eight with three more on the way. She was a great friend to many.

Donna attended Springville High School and graduated in 1967. She has worked at Dillard’s, Wal-mart and JC Penney.

She is her children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s biggest cheer leader and loved watching them play ball. She loved the out-of-doors, spending time camping, bowling, but most of all she enjoyed her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, DeeLona Smith, of Mapleton; daughter, Darla (Jeff) Adamson, of Hide Away Valley; son, Darrin (Donna) Smith, of Mapleton; daughter, Melisa (Jared) Roberts, of Mapleton. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother: Faye (Owen) Quarnberg, of Mapleton; Eve (Bob) Peterson of West Valley; and Doug (Darelene) Curtis, of Grand Junction, Colorado.

She was met with open arms by her daughters: Danna Lee Smith and Billy Dawn Smith; her parents; and two brothers.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 30, 2015, at 12:00 noon in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville, Utah, with the interment to follow.

We would like to say Thank You to Mapleton 20th LDS Ward and the Hospice nurse for all of the compassionate and professional care that was rendered to Donna and all of her family.

To all of her family and friends SHE LOVED YOU ALL, THANK YOU

God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be
And he put "His" arms around you
And whispered "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
Working hands were put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

We all love you.
