Tidwell, Ruby Jaco
Ruby Jaco Tidwell of Marks, 71, died Sunday, November 20, 2005, of heart failure at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven.
Services were at National Funeral Home in Clarksdale on Wednesday, November 23, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Earnest Gordon and Dr. Phillip Tidwell officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens near Clarksdale. National Funeral Home of Clarksdale had charge.
Born November 26, 1933, in Marks, she was a homemaker and a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Lurand. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Tidwell, and a son, Jeff Tidwell.
Survivors include three daughters, Rita Moore of Mantachie, Barbara Tackett of Marks, and Sarah Garrard of Lyon; two sons, Dr. Phillip Tidwell and Wesley Tidwell, both of Marks; two sisters, Lottie Avant of Batesville and Jeanette Carpenter of Clarksdale; two brothers, Doyle Jaco of Clarksdale and William Jaco of Lyon; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be sent to Gateway Baptist Church at Lurand.
