Harvey C. McKim, 87, a resident of Montgomery, AL died on November 24, 2015. He was born on March 16, 1928, in Montgomery, AL, where he lived his entire life. He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School, served in the United States Marine Corps, and retired from the Veteran's Administration after 39 years of service. An avid Alabama fan, he also loved spending time with his family and at the lake and beach. Harvey is survived by his sister, Annie Cooper; sons Harvey A. (Cindy) McKim and Thomas L. (Susan) McKim; grandchildren Brannon (Julie) McKim, Britney (Tony) Summerville, and Matthew (Krystin) McKim; and great-grandchildren Maddox, Bo, and Mallory McKim, Smith and Max Summerville, and Henry Thomas McKim, due in February 2016. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00-1:00PM on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Leak Memory Chapel, with a graveside service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, officiated by Rev. John Ed Mathison. Active pallbearers will be Albert Crumley, Billy Crumley, David Erikson, Charles Frazier, Butch Mann, and Brannon McKim. On line condolences may be made at www.LEAK-MC.com.
