Christian Johann LENTZ born 17 November 1830 at Brienne, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia was the son of Gottlieb LENTZ and Luise SCHNEIDER.
Christian married Friederika HAUSSER in about 1852 at Brienne. The couple was blessed with no less than 7 children; Christina b.1853, Katharina b.1854, Maria b.1857, Christian b.1859, Eva Rosina b.1860, Johannes b.1862 and Michael b.1864.
Christian LENTZ died before May 1988 at Brienne. His widow, Friederika LENTZ immigrated to America with their son, Christian LENTZ's family via the Port of Bremen, Germany aboard the SS "Saale" and arrived at the Port of New York, New York on the 18th of May 1888.
