Mrs. Lucy C. Cartwright passed away about midnight Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James E. Smith, of No. 171 East Division street. She was 76 years of age and was born in England, but resided the greater part of her life in this country. Her death was due to dropsy, from which she had been suffering for some time. She came to this city during the holidays to visit her daughter and had been unable to return home, because of her health. She was the wife of Ezechial Cartwright and is survived by two children Mrs. Smith of this city and James Cartwright, of Muncie, Ind. She also leaves one brother, Christopher Clark, of Niles, O. Friends of the family will sympathize with them in their bereavement. Funeral services Sunday
afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Smith home, No. 171 East Division street, and interment at Oak Park.
