Virginia was the daughter of Elroy Havins and Imer Lorene Guthrie. She was born 14 Jul 1931 in Long Beach, California. She married William Douglass Pinkerton, Jr. (a returning Marine who fought in the South Pacific in World War II) on 26 May 1947. Together they had four children. In 1961, William and Virginia parted ways and Virginia married Charles Kolkow. They lived in Grants Pass, Oregon for many years. After Charles passed away in 2010, Virginia reconnected with her first crush who never forgot her over the long years. They married and she moved to Lompoc, California where she spent her final years. Virginia passed away on 12 Nov 2015.
