Phillip Morris, 81, of Blue Creek passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side. He has completed his journey here on Earth and is now awaiting the second coming of the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Alma Daubenspeck Morris; sister, Brenda James. Phillip served his county in the US Air Force as a airplane mechanic. He was active in church and faithfully served his Lord for many years.

Surviving is his wife, Donna Melton Morris; sons, Timmy (Darlene) Morris of Pine Grove, Phillip (Christina) Morris II of Mannington; daughters, Terry (Jay) Nelson of Cordova TN., Tammy (Buddy) Burgess of Elkview, Michelle Craven of Elkview; brother, Jerry Paul(Faye) Morris; sisters, Janet McMillian, Donna Ridgewell, Kathy (John) Herr, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at the Hafer Funeral Home, Myers Chapel with Pastor Roy Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney with military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Post 61, Clendenin.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Family would like to thank Hospice care nurses for their tender and loving care.
