Jimmy Newman, 54, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on November 23, 2015 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born on July 22, 1961 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Ronald Edward Newman and Wanda (Rowland) Newman. He worked in construction for Larry Warren Construction. Jimmy loved his Boston Terrier, Camo. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, music. He was a wonderful son and father and will be very missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda Lawrence of Pryor, OK; son, Ruben Newman of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Michael Lee Newman and wife Tonya of Peggs, OK, Ronald Newman of Rockford, IL, and Odie Newman also of Rockford, IL; sisters, Tosha Newman of Nashville, TN, Shirley and Husband, Steve of Pryor, OK, Caroline Linell and husband, Allen of Pryor, OK and Dana O’Daniel of Pryor, OK; three grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service - Friday, November 27, 2015 in the Pentecostal Church of God with Reverend Junior Mullin officiating. Interment in the Graham Memorial Cemetery. Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.
