        JOHN L. AMIGH ,
 
    Mr. Amigh, 92, of Hollidaysburg Veterans Home died at 6:55 a.m. Monday, June 28, 1993, at Van Zandt VA Medical Center, following an extended illness.
    Mr. Amigh was formerly employed at United Home Dress Meat Co. and the Pennsylvania Railroad.
    He was born Dec. 18, 1900, in Conemaugh, the son of Abraham and Mary (Singer) Amigh.
    He married Ethel Janet Lee on Aug. 31, 1921, in Conemaugh.  She died Oct 19, 1965.
    Surviving are six children: Wilbur F. of Lakemont, Lois Suydam and Gloria Swope of Hollidaysburg, Shirley Conner of East Freedom, Sheldon of Stockland, N.J., and Nancy Boyer of Newry; 30 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
    Mr. Amigh was an Army veteran of World War I, serving with the 321st Field Artillery Department
    He was a former member of Fort Fetter American Legion Post Hollidaysburg, and Allegheny Club, Hollidaysburg, and a member of Hollidaysburg Veterans Home American Legion Post and Duncansville VFW.
    Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.
 
AMIGH - Services for John L. Amigh will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sorge Funeral Home, by the Rev. Kevin K. Locker.
    Interment with military honors at Spring Hope Cemetery, Martinsburg.
    Friends will be received from 2 to 6 and 7 to 9 p m Wednesday at Sorge Funeral Home.
    He was preceded in death by four children: Warren, Betty Echard, Margaret Erb and Sheridan; two grandsons and a great- great-grandson.
