Rockwell - Donald "Spud" Sheldon, 74, Rockwell, died Thursday (Feb. 5, 1981) at home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Patterson-James-Sellergren-Murphy Chapel, Rockwell, with the Rev. Dan Munson of the First Baptist Church, Rockwell, officiating. Burial will be in the Rockwell Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral chapel in Rockwell.
Born in Cartersville, Mr. Sheldon was a resident of Rockwell for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired salvage dealer.
Survivors include two sons, Donald H. Sheldon Jr., Des Moines, and William A. Sheldon, Rockwell; five grandchildren; and one brother, Lynn Sheldon, Rockford.
