Noah S. Horst, fifty-nine, 119 Valley Rd., Neffsville, a florist for 25 years, died at the Lancaster General Hospital Friday at 2:30 PM after an illness of three months.
He was born in East Earl Twp., a son of the late Reuben W. and Francis Sweigart Horst. He lived in Neffsville for 32 years.

He was a member of the First Church of God, Lancaster and the Men's Golden Rule Bible Class. He was very active in church affairs and was a former elder and deacon of the church. He was also a member of the Lancaster County Florists Association, and the Neffsville Fire Co. and a past president of the Lancaster Northeast Rotary Club.

Surviving are his wife: the former F. Ruth Myer, at home; a son Richard M., Rockville, Conn.; a daughter, Dorothy, wife of Kenneth A. Carpenter, Lititz R1; and two grandchildren.
Also surviving are 11 brothers and sisters: ElamS., Bareville R1; Reuben S. and Titus S., both of Akron; Eli S., Brandon, FL; Phares S., Lattabra Heights, CA; Lloyd S., Dayton, VA; Frances, wife of Lehman Lefever, Manheim, R1; Anna, wife of Jacob Herr, Sarasota, FL; Katie, wife of John Shenk, Manheim R1; Ada, wife of Landis Weaver, Akraon; and Walter S., Bareville.
