Floyd Eugene, 80, passed away August 25, 2006 at the VA Center in Norman. He married Freda N. Biggerstaff on March 11, 1949 in Porterville, CA. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe in WWII and worked as a machinist at GM. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, The Bee Keeper Association, was a wood craftsman and bee keeper. He is survived by his wife: Freda, of the home; 2 sons: Dan Hicks & wife Mary of El Cajon, CA, Kevin Hicks & wife Gayle of Chandler, OK; 2 daughters: Shelley Smith & husband David of Fremont, CA; Lee Anne Pinkerton & husband John of Turlock, CA; & 4 grandson & 3 granddaughters. A special thanks to friends James & Jean White of Harrah. He was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer & Lillie Hicks; 1 brother & 2 sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Midwest City or the Alzheimer's Association. Funeral services will be 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment 12:00 p.m. at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK.
