D. C. Brantley, 59, of Crossett died Sunday, October 31, 2004, at Ashley County Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a janitor for Wal-Mart and a member of Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother, W. L. Brantley of Brinkley; and three sisters, Minnie Brennon and Oleda Gardner, both of Crossett, and Lettie Moore of Camden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Waymond and Leona Cornelison Brantley; one sister, Irene Willis; two brothers-in-law, Jim Gardner and Charles Brennan; and one niece, Lisa Gardner.
Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, November 3, at 2 p.m. at Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Roy Grantham and Bro. Don Justice officiating. Burial was to follow at Sims Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
Pallbearers were to be Danny Brennon, Tim Haas, Steven Haas, Charles Brennon Jr., Glenn Fletcher and Richard McCollough. Honorary pallbearer was to be Gary Hamilton.
