ANNA L. BOWERS, 85, of New Paris, OH, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at her residence. Born on January 7, 1930 in Wayne Co., IN, she was the daughter of the late Russell A. & Grace M. (Hollinger) Pease. Anna had attended Price’s Creek Church of the Brethren and had served with the Ladies Aid at the church. She was a 1949 graduate of Hollansburg High School and a member of the Preble Little Turtles Camping Club.

Preceded in death by her Brothers: Roland and Lester Pease; Sisters: Esther Woods and Phyllis Markley; Great Grandson: Andrew Bowers.

Survived by her Husband of 64 years: Chester W. Bowers; Daughter: Beverly A. (Nathan) Garber, West Manchester, OH; Son: Dennis C. (Luanne) Bowers, West Manchester, OH; Brother: Dale (Linda) Pease, New Paris, OH; Grandchildren: Dawn Garber, Leslie (Michael) Copper, Chad (Anne) Garber and Brad (Dawn) Bowers; Great Grandchildren: Gracie and Madison Copper, Great Granddaughter Garber (due December 31, 2015), Olivia, Ruby, Mary and Caroline Bowers. Nieces and nephews.

A Public Graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, November 23, 2015 in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating.
