Services for Will H. Scott, 84, of Throckmorton and formerly of Sweetwater, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Throckmorton High School Auditorium.
Another service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Fourth and Elm Street Church of Christ with burial in Sweetwater Cemetery.
A former Nolan County State Representative, Nolan County school superintendent and teacher, he was an elder in Fourth and Elm Church of Christ while living in Sweetwater.
At the time of his death, he was minister of the Church of Christ in Throckmorton where he had lived since 1959.
Survivors include his wife, Ethelea; two sons, Morris of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jack of Costa Mesa, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Foy Vinson of Plano; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Elders and deacons of the Throckmorton Church of Christ will be pallbearers in the Throckmorton service and nephews will be pallbearers in Sweetwater. Cate-Spencer Funeral Home will be in charge of local arrangements.
