William Newton Savage was the son of James Savage and his wife Rhoda Ann.
The death certificate for William N., lists his mother's maiden name as Rhoda Sneed though some believe that she was the daughter of Richard Sharp. There is a Thomas P. Sneed, also buried in Chitwood, who would be of an age to be a brother or a cousin of Rhoda, if connected at all.
