Mrs. Luella Scott, 94, of Oxford, died in her home at 12:10 p.m. Thursday. She had been ill two years.

Mrs. Scott was born in Benton County but moved as an infant with her family to Woodson County, Kansas. She returned to Indiana at the age of 21 and lived in Carroll County until moving to Benton County after her marriage in 1902 to Frank A. Scott. Mr. Scott preceded her in death in 1944.

In 1946 Mrs. Scott went with her daughter, Miss Ila Scott, to South Dakota where she lived on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation for three years. She resided in Nevada eight years and in Mount Edgecumbe, Alaska, 8 1/2 years before returning to Oxford in 1965.

Mrs. Scott was a member of the Oxford United Methodist Church, 25 year member of the OES 128, honorary member of BPS in Sitka, Alaska, and a member of the Mineral and Gem Society in Carson City, Nev.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Ila F. Scott at home and Mrs. Thelma Moyars of Rt. 1, Oxford, and two sisters, Mrs. Ora Wooden of Oxford and Lillie Doctor of Rossville.

Friends called after 4 p.m. Friday at Shipps-Konzelman Funeral Home, Oxford. OES services there at 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, the Rev. Richard Chrispell officiating. Burial in Justus Cemetery, Oxford.
