Maggie Causby Abee, 101, of Rutherford College, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Pruitt Health at Town Center in Harrisburg, NC, following a period of declining health.

Maggie was born on March 16, 1914 in Burke County to the late Leban Walker Causby and Eldie Warlick Causby.

She retired from Pauline Hosiery, was a member of the Lovelady Lodge Eastern Star, and a faithful member of Bollinger's Chapel United Methodist Church. At Bollinger's she served as a Sunday School Teacher and President of the Womens Society.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband George F. Abee; 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Survivors include her son, Lynn Abee and wife Ann of Charlotte; two grandsons, Steven Abee and wife Julie of Apex, NC, and Ryan Abee and wife Emily of Harrisburg, NC; two great-grandsons Isaiah Abee and Ryland Abee; and three great-granddaughters Ema Abee, Maddie Abee, and Eden Abee.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 17, 2015 at Bollinger's Chapel United Methodist Church, with Rev. George Williams and Rev. Sue Cronk officiating. Interment will follow in the Bollinger's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
