Lorraine was the 5th of 6 children of Daniel Lorin McManus and Eva Calderwood. In 1940 she married Louis A Abreo, and they had one son. In 1948 she married Noden Laverne Heitzman, a widower with a son the same age as her son, and together they had another son and a daughter. Lorraine lived in Illinois, Minnesota, Florida, and Arizona.
