[July 2019: health issues, so bear with me please]

Retired Data Analyst/Accountant
Not a photographer, no means to do so (perhaps in the distant future.)
I can count on just one hand the number of times I've actually been to a cemetery.
I've traveled very little over the years...in a way spending time researching and searching for burials and cemeteries is my way of traveling. Learning allot about the history of places I've never been nor will ever be able to visit.

I also enjoy researching via ancestry and historical newspapers to find missing memorial facts like dates and places, maiden names, and especially to find parents of those who died quite young. When I happen to come across interesting (most are) obituaries, even if not who I was searching for, if a memorial is found, I'll condense them and pass them along. (no need to "credit" me, by the way.)

Of special interest is a little cemetery in Western Nebraska, now Pleasant Hill, formerly Hull Community Cemetery (aka Civil War Cemetery.) My great grandma was the first burial there in 1887. Her parents and several in-laws families are there too. Researching others there, given the time period of Land Grants and Homesteading - a real challenge to my poor geography skills. But I am happy to say I've learned allot and continue to do so.
