Funeral service for Ralph Mitchell Reeves, 72 of Kershaw, SC, will be held Tuesday, November 17, in the sanctuary of Oakhurst Baptist Church, Heath Springs, SC. The Revs. John Rogers and Charlie Simmons will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Reeves died Saturday evening, November 14, in KershawHealth, Camden, SC. Born in Heath Springs, SC, he was a son of the late James Otis and Dida Adams Reeves. He retired from E. I. Dupont, Co. and was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church. Mr. Reeves enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with his family. He also was a graduate of Heath Springs High School and a United States Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Barbara Williams Reeves; a son, Keith M. Reeves and his wife Susan B. Reeves of Lancaster, SC; a daughter, Susan Reeves Collins and her husband Mike Collins of Lexington, SC; 6 grandchildren, Will Reeves and his wife Brittany Reeves, Tyler Reeves, Jordan Reeves, Ryan Reeves, Lindsey Collins and Haley Collins; a great grandson, Liam Reeves; his mother-in-law, Ruby Gay Williams of Kershaw, SC; 4 brothers, Walter Reeves and his wife Dora of Heath Springs, SC, Elliott Reeves and his wife Betty Jean of Kershaw, SC, Bankson Reeves and his wife Mary Ann of Kershaw, SC, and Clyburn Reeves of Heath Springs, SC; 2 sisters, Ethel R.
