Albert Buckbee, 80, former resident of Sheffield, died Thursday at the Berkshire Hills North Nursing Home in Lee. Born in Sheffield Sept 23, 1893, he was the son of Frank and Sadie Taylor Buckbee. He was employed many years ago by the Hugh Smiley farm in Egremont. He was a World War I veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Bessie M. Klahn of Great Barrington, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 at the Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Great Barrington. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9.
