Sickels—at her home in Angola, Ind., Friday morning, Jan. 8, 1886, Cora E. Hoose, wife of Nathan Sickels, aged 26 years,11 months, and 11 days.
Cora Hoose was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, Jan. 27, 1839. About seven years ago she moved with her parents to Metz, Ind., and on Dec. 2, 1883, she was married to Nathan E. Sickles. She was a member of the Baptist Church, and a consistent Christian. To know her was to esteem her. Her funeral took place at the Disciple Church in Metz, at 11 o’clock on Sunday, Jan. 10, conducted by L.W. Fairfield. Burial was in Powers Cemetery.
