MR. JOHN T. EMORY, 65, of 13114 Mentzer Gap Road, Waynesboro, PA, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 in Waynesboro Hospital.
Born August 1, 1950 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late John R. and Enina G. (Rowland) Emory.
Mr. Emory served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He had been employed for NVR Homes, Thurmont, MD and as a groundskeeper at Fort Ritchie, MD for a number of years.
He is survived by three sisters, Isabelle L. Brown of Quincy, Linda K. Jones of Mont Alto and Connie A. Wetzel of Five Forks; two brothers, Arnold D. Emory and Donald L. Emory, both of Rouzerville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Sunday, November 15, 2015 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 South Broad Street, Waynesboro.
