Jason Thomas Woods, 51, of Concord, died Wednesday November 11, 2015 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 17, 1964 in Union City to Wanda Henry Woods and the late Sharon Warren Woods. He was a 1982 graduate of Campbell High School, where he played basketball and football.

Woods enjoyed outdoor pursuits including fishing, hunting, vegetable gardening, and spending time around a camp fire, as well as watching his children compete in sports and rodeo and watching the Atlanta Braves. But it was fishing, particularly saltwater fishing, that was his passion. He was a welder by trade.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sharon Warren Woods, sister, Mary Helen Woods Campbell, and brother, Keith Warren Woods.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, November 13, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 14, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Don Sansbury officiating. Burial will follow in Old Hebron Cemetery in Concord.
