Soren Frandsen

Soren Frandsen, 87, 631 Carson St., died at his home Sunday at 6:10 p.m. of causes incident to age.

A native of Denmark, he was born Nov. 25, 1858, a son of Niels and Inger Marie Frandsen. An elder in the LDS church, he formerly was employed by Salt Lake City, and was a farmer and sheep man.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eva Christina Erickson Frandsen, Salt Lake City; two sons, Kenneth Soren Frandsen, Pasadena, Calif., and Linden E. Frandsen, Ogden; two brothers, Frands Frandsen of Salt Lake City, and James Frandsen of Provo; a half-brother, Niels Frandsen, Salt Lake City; a sister, Margaret Christensen, Redmond; three half-sisters, Mrs. Annie Breinholt, Salina; Mrs. Josephine Peterson, Redmond, and Mrs. Maria McKinney, Salt Lake City, and five grandchildren.
