Mr. Wagoner was born January 24, 1933, in Wilkes County to Isaac Glenn and Laura Belle Royal Wagoner.
He was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Wagoner was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Wagoner; four brothers, Charlie Wagoner, Carlie Wagoner, Gabe Wagoner, Andrew Wagoner; and two sisters, Ella Vea Flowers, and Della Kidd.
Surviving are his wife, Margie Pearl Caudill Wagoner of the home; four sons, Troy Wagoner and wife Virginia, Jimmy Wagoner and wife Donna, all of North Wilkesboro, Terry Wagoner and wife, Sandra of McGrady, Jerry Wagoner and wife, Michelle of Elkin; two daughters, Brenda Royal and husband Harold of Boomer, Betty Royal and husband Timmy of Hays; one brother, Harlie Wagoner of North Wilkesboro; one sister, Carrie Osborne of North Wilkesboro; one half-brother, Abel Wagoner, North Wilkesboro; two half-sisters, Mabel Royal, Retha Pike, both of North Wilkesboro; sixteen grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two step, great -grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, at Miller Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Union Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
