Survivors are sons and daughter-in-law, Gregory D. Stewart of Key Largo, Florida, John R. and Nikki Stewart of Schererville, Indiana; daughters and son-in-law, Deanna J. and Mike Sabo of Dyer, Indiana, Julie E. Stewart and fiancé, John Lewis of Schererville, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Wendy, Jeremy, Greg, Jodi, Dennis, Jeana and Jacob; eight great-great-grandchildren; mother, Lena W. Hines of Griffith, Indiana; sisters and brother-in-law, Jess "Toby" and Chuck Guard of Schererville, Indiana, Mary J. Neff of Dallas, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Eileen Hines of Portage, Indiana. Preceded in death by her husband, David C. Stewart and her sons, Monty Stewart and Jeffrey K. Stewart. Funeral services Thursday, May 28, 1998 at 11:00 AM at the Burns Funeral Home (corner of 101st and Broadway) Merrillville / Crown Point Chapel with the Reverend J. E. Miller officiating.
