Obituary of Julia Butler

Mrs. Julia Butler, age 88, of San Augustine, passed from this life on Monday evening, November 9, 2015, in San Augustine.

Julia was born to Martha (Johnson) Harlow and Victor Randle Harlow on February 23, 1927, in Harlingen, Texas. She was a homemaker, and a beloved Mother, Grandmother, and a Great-Grandmother. She was a member of the Attoyac Missionary Baptist Church in San Augustine County.

Those who are left to cherish her memory include, Sons, H.B. "Bud" Butler and his wife, Pat of San Augustine; Cornell Butler and his wife, Ida of San Augustine; Gene Butler and his wife, Doris of Rosevine; Daughters, Sue Lieurence of Conroe; Helen Sewell and her husband, Reagan L. of Cushing and Margo Noble of San Augustine; 15 grandchildren along with numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Victor Harlow; her beloved Husband, Hampton Butler; great-grandchild, Cloe Sewell.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Reagan F. Sewell officiating. Interment will be in the Attoyac Cemetery in San Augustine County. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, November 11, 2015, at the Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will include, Lucas Thornton; Daniel Thornton; Cody Thornton; Lane Smith; Shane Smith, and Lucas Holloway. Honorary Pallbearer will include, Lewis Butler
