Patrick Simon Bowen, 79, of Winterville, passed away on October 31, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center. He was born on February 6, 1936 in Pitt Co. to the late Jasper and Verna Rouse Bowen. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tommy Bowen; his former wife, Patricia Coward; three sisters, Hazel Norris, Mildred Mitchell and Rebecca Hall; three brothers, Jasper, Willis and Thomas Bowen.
Patrick graduated from Pitt Community College with a degree in Drafting and worked for some time at E.I. DuPont. He was self- employed for the last twenty years. He was a member of St. Delight OFWB Church.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00pm at Farmer Funeral Service-Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Ayden Cemetery.
