Albert C. Schwertz, age 85, died November 25, 1991 at a Salt Lake hospital.

Born April 27, 1906 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son of Alphonse and Mary Eggeter Schwertz. Married Rose E. Gordon, June 22, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana; she preceded him in death July 2, 1971.

Retired bakery manager. Past president of Salt Lake Exchange Club. He enjoyed working in his yard.

Survived by daughter, Mrs. Fredrick L. (Rosemary) Lindbeck; grandchildren, Melanie Lindbeck-Saben and her husband, Mark, Shafter, Calif.; Fritz Lindbeck and his wife, Shauna; and Heather E. Bush, all of Salt Lake City; great-grandchildren, Casey F. Lindbeck, and Weston Albert Lindbeck, both of Salt Lake City; three brothers and one sister. Preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Bush.

Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Family suggests those wishing may make contributions to Holy Cross Hospital Foundation Fund.
