Oct. 1888), Hallie N. (b. June 1893), Alla D. (b. June 1893), Lucinda (b. June 1896) and Verena (b. Mch. 1899) lived in Shady Spring, Raleigh County, West Virginia. John and Sarah were married 27 years, having 16 children, 13 living. He was a farmer. Sons, James and Azel were farm laborers.
