Lester was the son of Ella Chapman and Harrison Appleby. He was born 29, 1893 near Hopkinton He married Sophia Sulzner on Dec 7,1915. She passed away Mar 7, 1957.
He spent most of his life farming in the Hopkinton, Buck Creek and Earlvill are. The last few years he was employed by Agriculture Stablization Servicre.
Survived by son Robert, 2 daughters, Mrs Mary Schnitjrtr of Delhi and Mrs Naxine Frersinger of Dubuque, 11 Grandchildren, four beothers, Cortland of Ryan, Harold, Sanfork, FL, Elmer of Seattle, WA and Walter of Manchester.
