Ray Edward Ragsdale, Jr., 81, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 in a local hospital. He was born on December 8, 1933 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was retired from the quality control department of Rheem Manufacturing and had attended Central Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The family will visit with friends following the memorial service.
He is survived by three daughters, Vicki Gipson of Glen Allen, Virginia, Stacey Burrough of Bee Branch, Arkansas, and Theresa Taylor of Pineville, Louisiana; six sons, Joey Ragsdale of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Bobby Ragsdale of Port Orchard, Washington, David Ragsdale of Van Buren, Arkansas, Stephen Ragsdale of Booneville, Arkansas, Tim Nguyen of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and James Nguyen of Van Buren, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and a brother, Jerry Ragsdale of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
