Troy Turner, 46, a resident of the Portland community, died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at his home.
TROY MATTHEW TURNER was born April 22, 1969 in Hillsboro, Oregon, the son of Matthew Judd Turner and Norma Lee (Hines) Turner Davis. He was raised and received his education in the Forest Grove community, having been a graduate of the Forest Grove High School Class of 1987.
He had worked as a machinist in the metal fabrication industry for many years.
Among his special interests he enjoyed mountain biking, golf and caring for his dog, "Zoey".
Survivors include his mother, Norma Davis, of Forest Grove, Oregon; his brother and sister-in-law, Rob and Carrie Davis, of Forest Grove, Oregon and his two sisters, Tracy Turner, of Hillsboro, Oregon and JoAnn Turner, of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Also surviving are his eleven nieces and nephews, Daniel, McKenzie, Douglas and Rachael Mason; Madison and Landon Davis; Jak Hanchett; Mathew Boggs and Chase, Ilysse Cable and Tayler VanDewege uncle, Jeff Turner, of Turlock, California and his special friends since grade school, Todd Sheldon, Jason Cantley, Blair Haberman, Bob Jenkins and John Hicks.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, remembrances may be contributions to the Bonnie L. Hays Small Animal Shelter, 1901 S.E. 24th Avenue, Hillsboro, Oregon 97123-7920, in his memory.
