A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2002, in Craig, Alaska, for Matthew J. Turner, who died July 10 at age 56.
Mr. Turner was born Sept. 30, 1945, in Hillsboro and he graduated from Hillsboro High School. He moved to Alaska in 1980 and owned and operated a carpentry business. In 2000, he married Sharon Simmons.
Survivors include his wife; son, Troy; daughters, Tracy Mason, JoAnn Turner and Sheri Riche; brother, Jeff; and nine grandchildren.
