Robert G. Heinritz Jr., 70, of Highland, Ill., born Jan. 13, 1945, in St. Louis, Mo., passed away Monday, November 2, 2015, at Meridian Village, Glen Carbon, Ill.
Robert attended Troy United Methodist Church, Troy, Ill. He served his country in the United States Air Force, Missouri Air National Guard during the Vietnam Era. Robert was an active member of the N.R.A. He was a defender of 2nd Amendment Rights, a member of the Highland Pistol and Rifle Club, and an avid reader and historian. He was a member of the Bar Association and Sons of the American Revolution. He was an enthusiastic RV traveler, starting at the young age of 6, always ready and willing for a new adventure. He loved his family more than life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert G. Clemans Heinritz Sr., and Loubelle, nee Wood, Clemans; his step-father, Kermit Clemans; and a step-granddaughter, Rachel Anne Foe Pauk.
Surviving are his wife, Linda L., nee Widicus, Heinritz of Highland, Ill.; his step-children, Thomas Kionka of Charlotte, N.C., David Kionka of Phoenix, Ariz., Jeffrey Pauk of Edwardsville, Ill., Meridith Lee of Castle Rock, Colo., Diana Lyle of Florissant, Mo., and Jennifer Norton of Cambridge, Mass.; his step-grandchildren, Misha, Ashley, Rachel and Margaret Lee, Thomas, Maggie, Eliza and Daniel Pauk and Maxton Norton; and his step-mother, Dana Heinritz of Glen Carbon, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Richeson Funeral Home, with Rev. Dennis Price officiating. Burial will be in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, Ill.
