LeJoyce Mae Picou Brignac, 82 years old of Maurepas, Louisiana, passed away, Saturday, September 1, 2012, at North Oaks Medical Center.
She was born on Sunday, March 2, 1930, in Maurepas, La., daughter of the late Robert Picou and the late Avey Smiley Picou.
Surviving are daughter, Cheryl Vassil and husband Joe, sons, Robert Brignac and wife Dianne, Roger Ray "Brittles" Brignac and wife Denise and Phillip "Mooney" Brignac and wife Linda, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and sister, Shiley Scivique.
She is preceded in death by husband, Roger Brignac.
Friends will be received Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula. Visitation will resume on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Whitehall, La., from 9:00 am until Mass begins at 11:00 am.
Services will be held at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Whitehall, La., Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in the Maurepas Cemetery Maurepas, Louisiana.
