Judith Ann Cate, age 67, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Monday, November 2, 2015 at her home.

She was born January 13, 1948 in Oilton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Leo Lester and Geneva June (Bass) Savage.

She was married to 1) Johnny R. Smith, and 2) Roy Cate.

She lived most of her life in Northwest Arkansas. She attended Trinity Temple of Fayetteville and enjoyed Day Star programming.

Her hobbies included quilt making. She loved camping and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant daughter, Sheri Jaylon Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Cate of the home, a son, Johnny Brandon Smith of Fayetteville; a daughter, Shannon Barnhart (and husband, Timothy) of Springdale; and three step-sons, Shane Cate, Jason Cate and Benjamin Cate all of Fayetteville; four grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Savage and Jerry Savage of Springdale, and Charles "Chuck" Savage of Tontitown; a sister, Sue Slay of Springdale, and two half-sisters, Nellie Parker of Walnut Grove, Missouri and Leola Cross of Forum. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be November 6, 2015.

Burial in Elm Springs cemetery.
