BEERSHEBA SPRINGS -- Jewell Hill, 86, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was a member of Airview Baptist Church. She was born in Meigs County, Tenn., on Feb. 2, 1924 to Noah and Margaret Howard Rymer who preceded her in death along with her husband, J.B. Hill; stepdaughter, Jane Hill Mason; infant brother, Ellison Rymer; sisters, Hazel Geren and Mildred Barrett.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Campbell; son, Joe (JoAnne) McGinnis; stepson, Hugh Gerald (Gwen) Hill; sisters, Kathryn McGinnis and Sue Lusk; brothers, Taylor (Dean) Rymer and Kenneth (Alvada) Rymer; grandchildren, Lindy (Trey) Anderson, Lisa (Larry) Myers, Shelly (Greg) Meeks, Tim (Sarah) Tucker, Marty (Sherri) McGinnis, Kyra Myers and Todd (Dana) Mason; special nephew, Michael (Glenda) Knight and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. CDT Friday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Melvin Childers, Dal Barrett and Jerry Lusk officiating with burial to follow in Airview Cemetery.
