Mrs. Raynale Steinagel, 53, of County Rd F, Hamburg, died on Monday, June 10, 1985 at the Wausau Hospital Center.

She was born on September 28, 1931 in Marathon County to Oscar and Esther (Voigt) Jahnke. She married Gilbert Steinagel on November 22, 1947 in the Town of Berlin. She and her husband owned Steinagel's Bar and was a past secretary of the Marathon County Tavern League.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. and was well known for her participation in benefit programs for cancer and cerebral palsy.

Survivors include her step-mother, Mrs. Esther Jahnke of Wausau; two daughters, Mrs. Gail Westburg of the Town of Pine River, and Mrs. Lona Hoffman of Wausau; two sons, Neil of Merrill and Blaine of the Town of Berlin; a brother Maynard Jahnke, Hazelhurst; five sisters, Mrs. Mildred Rusch, Marshfield, Mrs. Vernette Klinger, Marathon, Mrs. Virginia Schuster, Town of Berlin, Mrs. Mary Jane Fox of Kenosha, and Mrs. Carol Rawlings of Wausau along with nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 13, 1985 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. Donald C. Schulz officiated. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Berlin.

The funeral arrangements were conducted by the Taylor Funeral Home of Merrill.
